Ryan says: “These themes are similar to ‘Mors,’ but I approached them in 4/4 time, as opposed to the 5/8 of ‘Mors.’  Anyhow, all three bits of score tie into the conflict between the Steve and Isabelle characters.  As the conflict brews, the melody (of sorts) rises.  When – spoiler alert! – the conflict begins to resolve, the melody (of sorts) descends.  Then again, if I recall correctly, I don’t think the postproduction crew of the film used the ‘Idea’ track in the final cut.”
